you know when you walk by something so many times you

forget to actually look at it?

well a while back i planted this little vertical succulent garden, and while

at first it brought me great delight, after a bit i kinda forgot about it.

THEN i noticed this

beautiful outgrowth of pink love shooting horizontally

from a very ordinary succulent. yowza!

beautiful! a good reminder that sometimes life needs to slow down

to enjoy the little things.

in other garden news: i found a seedbomb vending machine outside

of umami burger a few weeks ago and was so excited!

now the most delicate little green seedlings are sprouting. hooray!
