thanksgiving fest 09

so the pre-thanksgiving celebration has been done before, sure. but never quite like this. melis, meech, and i put together quite the dinner party, and used our martha powers to do it. :) plywood on top of our dining room table made it possible to seat 13, and meech spraypainted pumpkins + pears to use as place settings. everyone contributed with delish thanksgiving dishes which made the night a HIT! i am thankful, truly, for all my wonderful friends.

our little B turned 21 (again!) and here are some snaps from the part-ay. such a fun night!
do you see the beautiful painting we all worked to create? we only had 1/6th of the snapshot to look at before we put it all together....which is why the painting looks slightly like barbara streisand. :) love u!
