25 green bash

so, the proposal definitely stole my birthday's thunder
(totally fine by me!),
but it was a very colorful and
delicious birthday party and deserves a little bit of attention in and
of itself!
what a fun (and memorable!) night!
thanks for your help, everyone! love you guys.

spotted this beeautiful (hehe) painting at my fave thrift shop and
spraypainted it up a bit. It became the spot for guests to
post pics that they had brought with them!

mmm...gold spraypaint + ferns!

stole this idea HERE and made it my own!

THE MENU:
the focus was on fresh, green, and herb-y food!

honey-chipotle grilled corn
sweet corn cakes
spring black rice with tofu
rosemary grilled chicken
avocado fries
goat cheese + fig salad
fresh lavender drinks
vanilla bean cake with fudge frosting

thanks so much to all my dear friends who helped out with
the delicious food! :)
the night really did turn out amazing! (in more ways than one!)

color craze

lately, the sky has been rather gloomy,

which makes little difference to me!
feeling inspired (as always) by mad, mad amounts of color!
the sky is blue, the grass is green,
and your love makes me feel all yellow inside.

b is for bex, p is for party

our little B turned 21 (again!) and here are some snaps from the part-ay. such a fun night!
do you see the beautiful painting we all worked to create? we only had 1/6th of the snapshot to look at before we put it all together....which is why the painting looks slightly like barbara streisand. :) love u!
