confessions of a foodie

i feel like all i think about these days is food.
when life gets stressful, there is just something
about incredibly beautiful (and well-photographed) food that quiets my soul.
weird? quite possible....
but try to resist the beauty.

an ode to french macarons

being the baking and design junkie i am, i cannot help but love macarons. they are just so beautiful! fun to eat + look at, they have become quite the happening snack these days. while in hayes valley a few weeks ago, j and i were on a hot trail to seek + devour. unfortunately, both miette and paulette were CLOSED! these photos will have to do [for now].
cheers!
